| Hi Everyone, After consulting the executive and receiving four responses out of seven (a little dig to the three delinquents) - it has been decided that the Alumni Committee will meet at 7pm on Sunday, April 29th, 2007 in the High School Library. Some of the suggested topics to date are: - Guppie's fundraiser scheduled for May 16th a) Village sign board tentatively booked - do we want it? b) Do we want door prizes? c) Hosts and hostesses d) Free publicity - people to cover different avenues of advertisement - July 1st Parade a) Do we want to submit an entry again this year? b) What kind of float or entry? c) Who's going to organize it etc. etc. - Newsletter a) Do we want to send a newsletter early this fall to go to paid-up Alumni members? - Discussion about what is appropriate to do in the case of the death of a present or past Alumni Committee member or someone such as Don MacPherson. - Pictures, binders, memorabilia of all kinds. We should start working now to get thesse things ready for 2010 as the 55th will be here before we know it. Perhaps have a committee of volunteers who will take on the project.
