Pauline Marguerite Veinotte, 73, Newburne, Lunenburg County, died Saturday, July 27, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Waterloo, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Gladys (Zwicker) Wyle. She was a teacher and taught for over twenty years in small rural schools, New Germany Rural High School and West Northfield Elementary School. She wrote a history book entitled "Newburne Then and Now 1837-1987." She was active in her community and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by two daughters, Iris (Mrs.Warren Veinotte), Newburne; Laverna (Mrs.Robert Slauenwhite), Margaretsville; two sisters, Kathleen (Mrs. Eldridge Milbury), Newburne; Muriel (Rita) (Mrs. Laurie MacKay), Stanley Section; a brother, Lyman Wyle, Waterloo; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil; a sister, Merna Hirtle. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral home, Bridgewater, with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bridgewater, with Bishop Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Newburne Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, or any charity.
